Amazon is selling Apple's 2026 Mac mini with the M6 chip for $779.99. The configuration has a 12-core CPU, a 12-core GPU, 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD. The List Price on the listing is $899.00, so the saving is $119.01, about 13%. Price as of 6:46 PM ET Oct 9, 2026; end date not announced.
We checked the Amazon.com US listing on the evening of October 9, with a New Hampshire delivery address. Prime delivery dates vary (Oct 11-14 at time of writing).

Why it matters
This is near the lowest price, not at it. The low was $769 on Amazon on Oct 6-7, so this is $11 above it, per the iClarified price tracker. 9to5Toys likewise says $780 is within $11 of the all-time low on this configuration, and warns that there is "no telling how long these M6 Mac mini discounts will remain."
MacRumors lists the Mac mini at $779.99 among its Prime Day leftover deals, so this is a holdover from the sale, not a new price.
9to5Toys also reports two other configurations at all-time lows: 16GB with 512GB for $950 (regular $1,099) and 24GB with 512GB for $1,150 (regular $1,299). We did not check Amazon's price for either one.
Who should buy, who should wait
Buy this model if 256GB is enough. Storage fills quickly with 4K video and large apps, and an external drive adds cost. If you need more space, compare the $950 512GB configuration from 9to5Toys before you decide.
If you can wait, a lower price may come later. This leftover deal may also end at any time, and no end date is announced.
