Amazon.com is selling Apple's 2026 Mac Studio with an M5 Max chip, 36GB of unified memory and 512GB of storage for $2,299.00. That is $200.00 below the $2,499.00 List Price on the listing, an 8% cut.

We checked on a signed-in US account with a New Hampshire delivery address. The listing was sold and shipped by Amazon.com. Price as of 7:47 PM ET Oct 10, 2026; end date not announced.

Why it matters

This is a good price, but we did not verify price history. 9to5Toys lists the M5 Max Mac Studio at $2,299 against a $2,499 regular price and calls it an all-time low. That is the outlet's tracker claim.

9to5Mac also reports a $200 price drop on the new Mac Studio in its October 10 weekend deals. MacRumors says the Mac Studio starts at $2,499 with an M5 Max chip, so the $2,299 price is below that starting price.

The saving is measured against the $2,499.00 List Price, so it only matters if you would otherwise pay list.

Who should buy, who should wait

Buy this if you want a desktop Mac with an M5 Max chip, 36GB of memory and 512GB of storage, and $2,299 fits your budget.

Wait or compare if you need more memory or storage. This article covers one configuration. We did not check other Mac Studio configurations at Amazon. The deal has no announced end date, and Amazon can change the price at any time.
