Creality's US store lists the K3 at $849.00, but the product shows "Sold Out" and a "Notify Me" button. We checked at 5:22 a.m. ET on Oct. 11, 2026. The K3 is a four-nozzle multicolor printer, and Creality has opened pre-sales in China.

Why it matters

The trade-off is speed and waste against hardware and price. Each filament has its own nozzle, so colour changes do not push every colour through one nozzle. Creality says that cuts waste and print time, but we have not run the K3 to test those figures.

Creality's FAQ says the K3 "is expected to launch below $900" and that official pricing is still to come. The $849 figure is a store listing, not a confirmed launch price.

Creality's FAQ says pre-orders open in mid-October. We did not check Prusa CORE One or Snapmaker U1 prices, and Bambu's dual-nozzle H2D is a different class, so the comparison below is loose.

  • Bambu Lab H2D (US store): $1,749.00, with a struck-out typical price of $1,999.00. Checked 5:22 a.m. ET, Oct. 11, 2026.
  • Creality K3 (US store): $849.00, sold out, same check.

Buying options

  • Creality US store: $849.00. Shows "Sold Out" and "Notify Me", checked 5:22 a.m. ET, Oct. 11, 2026.
  • China pre-sales: 4,599 yuan, per Notebookcheck's report. We omit a dollar conversion because no rate date was given.
  • Indiegogo banner: The store page advertises an early-bird offer, "Save 23%". Its link goes to the Indiegogo page for the SPARKX i8, a different printer. We found no Indiegogo campaign for the K3.
  • Crowdfunding is not a retail purchase: Backers pledge before a product exists or ships, so delivery is not guaranteed. That is general crowdfunding practice, not a statement about any specific campaign.
  • "Under $900": Notebookcheck says Creality has said the international price will be under $900. That is Creality's expectation, not a price on sale.

What Creality claims for the nozzle system

  • Swap time: About five seconds (Notebookcheck). Creality's FAQ says 4.8 seconds.
  • Waste: About 85 percent less filament than single-nozzle multicolor printers (Notebookcheck). Fabbaloo presumes the 85 percent filament and 80 percent print-time figures compare with the K2, not with rival printers.
  • Accuracy: Creality says positioning stays within 25 micrometres over high-volume swaps. Its FAQ says 800,000 swaps; Notebookcheck says 600,000.
  • Nozzles: 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm. The K3 ships with four 0.4 mm nozzles, and Creality says a multi-nozzle kit follows later.
  • Materials: 95A TPU works out of the box. Softer 90A and 85A TPU need an optional kit.
  • Software: Creality Print 7.0 and later and OrcaSlicer support the K3. Klipper-based firmware arrives in phases.

What is not yet known

  • The US shipping date. The store page we read showed Oct. 9 to Oct. 11, and another read showed Oct. 11 to Oct. 13.
  • Whether the US price stays at $849 once Creality publishes official pricing.
  • Real-world waste, speed and accuracy. We have not tested the K3.
  • Current prices for the Prusa CORE One and Snapmaker U1. We did not check them.
