DJI has not announced the Neo 3, but an unboxing video from Tech Court shows what looks like its Fly More Combo. DroneXL reports the aircraft has no US FCC grant. Everything below is leaked, not confirmed by DJI.

At a glance

The Neo 3 is unannounced, and DroneXL says the aircraft has no US FCC grant. A US buyer can still get the original Neo for $139.00, or the Neo 2 for $259.00, both on Amazon from the third-party seller Yeehui Innovations. Both prices are from Oct. 14.

Why it matters

A US buyer should not wait for this drone. DroneXL says DJI cannot sell the Neo 3 in the US without an FCC grant for the aircraft, and expects no US launch. Meanwhile DJI's own US store showed no Neo 2 and the original Neo out of stock, so the real choice is the Neo or the Neo 2 on Amazon.

What the leak shows

On screen, the Tech Court video shows the RC Mini controller, three batteries with slotted tops, a charging hub, a USB-C cable and two small bags. The footage began as a 49-second clip posted by Jasper Ellens.

Tech Court says a built-in transceiver is still an inference. DJI has confirmed no battery capacity, flight time, price or release date. DroneXL quotes a leaked battery label of 1,800 mAh and 18.9 Wh.

What came from earlier leaks

The video does not show these specs. They come from earlier leaks, as DroneXL and Geeky Gadgets report them, including leaked marketing material, photos and videos of boxed units, and a production listing. They list:

  • A 1/1.1-inch square sensor, which would let the camera shoot vertical video without rotating.
  • 2x lossless zoom, meaning a closer framing without the usual quality loss of digital zoom, if it works as listed.
  • Omnidirectional obstacle sensing, meaning sensors on all sides to avoid collisions. The source does not say how well it works.
  • Weight: 192.7 g, which DroneXL traces to a production listing. The Neo 2 is 151 g. Both are under 250 g.

None of this has been tested.

The US situation

DroneXL reports the RC Mini has held an FCC grant since Dec. 19, 2025 and the aircraft has none. The FCC's Dec. 22, 2025 Covered List update bars new authorizations but does not prohibit sale of models authorized earlier.

DJI's US store showed no Neo 2 on Oct. 14. It listed the original Neo, out of stock:

  • Neo alone: $169
  • Neo Combo: $245
  • Neo Fly More Combo: $374

What you can buy today

Amazon prices on Oct. 14, both in stock:

The original Neo deal story has the price history. DroneXL says the Neo 2 never launched in the US. Amazon lists third-party seller Yeehui Innovations as the seller of both drones, and the Neo 2 ships from Amazon, so check that seller's warranty and returns terms before you buy either. DJI lists up to 19 minutes of flight for the Neo 2.

Our call, untested

We have not flown either drone. Buy the Neo at $139 now if you want a small camera drone. Choose the Neo 2 only if you want it. Either way you are buying from a third-party seller, so check its warranty and returns terms. Do not wait for the Neo 3 in the US.
