The Acer Predator Atlas 8 price, as far as we can tell, is £1,099.99. That figure comes from Acer's UK online store, where the handheld is marked "coming soon", not on sale. Our editors read the listing on Oct. 27, 2026. It is the only UK price we found for the device.

Acer's newsroom says the handheld will be available in North America, EMEA and Australia from October 2026. It gives no prices, saying specifications, prices and availability vary by region. We found no US price or date.

What the UK listing shows

The store lists one model, "Predator Atlas 8 Handheld | PA08-I51" in black (reference NH.U7XEF.003), tagged as a Copilot+ PC:

  • Chip and graphics: Intel Arc G3 at 1.90GHz, with Arc B370 graphics.
  • Memory and storage: 24GB LPDDR5X and a 512GB SSD.
  • Screen: 8-inch 16:10 touchscreen at 120Hz, listed as 1920x1080.
  • Software: Windows 11 Home.
  • Price: £1,099.99, with a note that no additional discount can be applied.

The store also shows a banner offering a Premium Reward Bundle worth up to £235 with a Predator Atlas purchase.

One detail does not match: Acer's newsroom describes the screen as 1920x1200, not 1920x1080. We have not reconciled the two.

What Acer says about the hardware

Acer's release describes an 8-inch handheld that runs full Windows 11 and can be configured with Intel Arc G3 or Arc G3 Extreme chips. It lists up to 24GB of memory, up to 1TB of storage, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a battery of up to 80Wh. Weight is under 810g.

It also lists Hall-effect triggers, a fingerprint-reading power button and two months of Xbox Game Pass Premium. The UK listing is the Arc G3 with 24GB of memory and 512GB of storage.

What this means for you

If you are in the UK, £1,099.99 is the number to watch, but it is a listing marked "coming soon", and it could change before the handheld ships. Do not read it as a US or euro price. We found none from Acer.

For context, ASUS's US store lists the ROG Ally X at $799.99. It has a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz screen, an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip and up to 24GB of memory. That is a US dollar price read on Oct. 27, so it is not a like-for-like comparison with a UK pound price, and we have not converted it.

Valve's page for the Steam Deck OLED did not show a price when we checked. It lists a 7.4-inch 1280x800 screen at up to 90Hz, a 6nm AMD chip and 512GB or 1TB of storage. On specs alone, the Atlas 8 offers a larger, higher-resolution screen and Windows.

We reported on Oct. 16 that Lenovo's Legion Go S with SteamOS was $999.99 at Best Buy, against $1,607.99 on Lenovo's US store. If an Acer handheld tempts you mostly for game libraries, our note on Xbox Cloud Gaming's pay-as-you-go hours is a cheaper route to try.

What we checked

The release date, regions and specs come from Acer's newsroom, which we read directly. The UK price, model reference, specs, "coming soon" status and bundle banner come from the Acer Store UK listing, read by our editors on Oct. 27. We did not reload it. The ROG Ally X and Steam Deck details come from ASUS's and Valve's own pages.
