Is it a good price?

It is not a record low by our check, and we did not verify price history. ESS News reported the S2000 launching at $649 from June 2 to June 22 against a $1,199 MSRP, so this price has appeared before. Lifehacker covered the deal on Oct 12 and calls it 46% off, a figure based on the $1,199 list price.

Anker's own store showed $649.99 at 6:37 PM ET, with a $999.99 comparison price and "Saved $350.00". Its page said orders placed on or after Oct. 5 ship within 10 to 15 business days. At Amazon the price is one cent lower and the delivery estimate is Nov 2.
