Walmart.com is selling Apple's AirPods 4 for $79.00. The listing shows a "Was $129.99" price, so the saving is $50.99, about 39%. dealnews and 9to5Toys describe this as the standard AirPods 4, without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Price as of 8:56 AM ET Oct 11, 2026. dealnews says the deal ends October 11, so the price may revert after today.

We checked the Walmart listing in a browser. It showed "Now $79.00" and "You save $50.99", was sold and shipped by Walmart.com, and listed free shipping. We did not use an affiliate link for this deal.

Why it matters

This is last-generation hardware. 9to5Toys reported on Oct 5 that Apple replaced the AirPods 4 with AirPods 5 last month, and that AirPods 5 with ANC start at $129. Walmart's $79 therefore buys the older model at about $50 less than the newer one's starting price. 9to5Toys also says Amazon offered the same deal but had a hard time keeping the AirPods 4 in stock.

dealnews lists the same $79 Walmart price as a staff pick, against a $129 regular price. It says its team saw this as the best price since last year, and that prices may go a little lower around Black Friday. That is dealnews's tracker view; we did not check price history ourselves.

dealnews also lists AirPods 4 at $99 from other sellers. We did not verify those prices. On the Walmart page itself, other sellers start at $117.00.

Who should buy, who should wait

Buy this if you want Apple earbuds, do not need noise cancellation, and $79 fits your budget. 9to5Toys notes you do not get ANC on this set.

Wait or look at AirPods 5 if you want ANC. We did not compare Amazon's AirPods 5 listing in detail. The AirPods 5 are a different, newer model, so the saving here applies only to the AirPods 4.
