Apple has sent members of the press an invitation to an event titled "Pro and tell," set for Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) in Los Angeles, according to 9to5Mac. As of publication, Apple has not posted an event page for the date on its events page.
What Apple sent
The invite went to media. Apple's Greg Joswiak posted it on X with the invite artwork and wrote: "Can't wait to pro and tell next week." The invite names no product. Apple has not said what it will show.
- Name: "Pro and tell"
- When: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET)
- Where: Los Angeles
What is rumored for the day
The product list comes from reports by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, relayed by the outlets covering the invite:
- MacBook Pro: an OLED touchscreen model with the Dynamic Island, expected to use an M5 Pro or M5 Max chip.
- Entry MacBook Pro: a 14-inch model moving to the M6.
- iMac: an M6 model keeping the current look.
- iPad mini: a revamped OLED model with a relocated front camera.
Gurman said, according to MacRumors, that the OLED MacBook Pro and other devices could launch Nov. 6.
What to watch
- Apple's own event page. Whether Apple lists the date and time.
- Format. A standard presentation is not expected. Apple's invite, seen in Marques Brownlee's Threads post, calls it an in-person "Apple Experience" in Los Angeles.
- Pricing and availability. Apple has not confirmed either. The Nov. 6 date above is a Gurman report, not an Apple announcement.
