What this means for you
We first covered the buds when Samsung announced them in Korea, where they cost KRW 299,000. That is roughly $220-225 at our Oct. 26 conversion, so $229 is close. See our earlier report for the full feature list.
If you want an open-ear pair, early November is when to look. Until Samsung names a day, treat the date as approximate. If you would rather block out the street, our Galaxy Buds4 Pro report covers the in-ear option.
What we checked
We read Samsung's U.S. newsroom post for the price, color, timing, weight, battery and feature details above. We did not test the buds. The dollar conversion of the Korean price is our own approximation.
