The Pixel 11 Pro store page promises 6 months of Google AI Pro "at no cost to you ($119 value)", with expanded Gemini usage limits, Gemini in Google apps and 5 TB of cloud storage. Google's help and developer pages show that a trial membership does not unlock every AI Pro benefit a paying member gets.
9to5Google spotted the gap and says it covers the trials Google gives away with phone purchases.
What a trial leaves out
- Antigravity models: Google's Antigravity docs mark Gemini 4 Argon, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Opus 5.5 as "Available on Google AI Pro for non-trial subscriptions only."
- YouTube Premium Lite: Google's AI Pro benefits page says the benefit "is unavailable until trials of Google AI Pro conclude and you convert to a paid subscription."
- Google Store credit: the 10% back in store credit is not open to trial members, according to Google's benefits page.
- Google Colab: the AI Pro benefits page lists the Colab perk as not available to trial memberships.
What a trial keeps
Google Health Premium is included. The AI Pro benefits page says members "subscribed through a trial are also eligible," though using it requires a paired Pixel Watch or Fitbit device and the Google Health app.
How to switch to paid
The Antigravity docs say a trial user who wants a paid Google AI Pro plan can submit an upgrade request through a link on that page. Google's pages do not say whether switching early changes the months left on a trial, and the store listing gives no renewal terms.
Why it matters
A phone promotion that names "Google AI Pro" does not tell you which of the plan's benefits apply while you are on the trial. Before counting on a specific perk, such as a model in Antigravity, check it against Google's benefit pages for trial members.
