Amazon is selling Samsung's 34-inch ViewFinity S65TC curved ultrawide monitor for $399.99. The List Price is $799.99 on both Amazon and Samsung's US page, so the saving is $400, or 50%. Amazon labels it a limited time deal and shows no end date. Price as of 6:05 AM ET Oct 10, 2026. PCWorld flagged the deal first, and we checked the price ourselves.

How big is the discount?
Half off the List Price, as a limited-time deal. The "50% off" is against that List Price, not against what most people have paid, and we make no claim about whether this is the lowest price the monitor has had.
What you get
Samsung lists a 34-inch Ultra-WQHD (3440 x 1440) VA panel with a 1000R curve, a 100Hz refresh rate, a 5 ms response time and 350 nits of brightness. It supports HDR10 and AMD FreeSync.
The selling point is the Thunderbolt 4 port. Samsung says it delivers up to 90W of power, so one cable can carry video, data and charging to a laptop. The monitor also has a KVM switch, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB and Ethernet ports, 5W speakers and a height-adjustable stand. It supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture, though Samsung notes 100Hz is not available in picture-by-picture mode.
Who it suits, and who should skip
It suits anyone with a laptop on a desk. One Thunderbolt 4 cable can drive the screen, charge the laptop and link a keyboard and mouse through the monitor's USB ports. The ultrawide shape fits side-by-side documents, spreadsheets and video calls.
Skip it if you game. 100Hz and a 5 ms response time are modest, and the curve is steep. Skip it if you need a flat screen for color-critical photo or video work, or for CAD; this is a curved VA panel.
Mac owners should be careful. One Amazon reviewer reports Thunderbolt disconnects on a 2023 MacBook Pro 16. That is a single report, not a pattern we confirmed. Samsung's Easy Setting Box app handles screen partitioning.
