T-Mobile has announced three new T-Mobile plans called T-Mix, built around "Picks" that you spend on benefits such as Apple TV, Netflix and Hulu. T-Mobile says the plans, named Standard, More and Loaded, are available in November. It did not give an exact date.

What the plans cost

Each plan includes core wireless features and T-Mobile's member perks, plus a set number of Picks:

  • Standard: from $55 a month for one line, with 1 Pick.
  • More: from $75 a month for one line, with 2 Picks.
  • Loaded: from $95 a month for one line, with 3 Picks.

Prices need AutoPay and exclude taxes and fees. T-Mobile also lists discounted versions for people 55 and older, military and veterans, first responders and college students.

How the swap works

Picks go toward partner benefits. T-Mobile lists Apple TV, DashPass by DoorDash, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and SiriusXM, plus Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, Delta SkyMiles, Google Gemini, Paramount+, Xbox Game Pass and YouTube Premium.

You can change partner Picks four times a year, in three change windows plus an Annual Remix window, with the monthly price staying the same. Wireless benefits such as T-Satellite can be changed at any time.

Picks can also go toward Optimized Video Calls and device promotions, including a new phone.

Apple TV and the fine print

9to5Mac reports that a T-Mobile Apple TV subscription costs 1 Pick, and that it stays at 1 Pick through June 2027. T-Mobile's release text does not give per-service Pick costs, so we have not confirmed that figure.

T-Mobile's terms say Picks have no cash value and unused Picks do not carry over to the next quarter. Changing a partner benefit outside a change window may require a fee, and T-Mobile can change what a benefit costs in Picks. You may also need to manage an existing subscription to avoid duplicate charges.

What we checked

Plan names, prices, the service list, the swap schedule and the fine print come from T-Mobile's release. We read it from an archived copy because t-mobile.com blocked our access. Only the Apple TV Pick cost comes from that outlet's report.
