Amazon's Blink announced five new security cameras on Oct. 21, 2026, and says all five are available to preorder in the U.S. They include Blink's first 4K camera, its first battery-powered spotlight camera and two systems built to reach far-off sheds and trails. Here is who each one is for.

The five cameras

Blink Mini 4K+ and Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+

The Mini 4K+ is Blink's first 4K camera. It works indoors or outdoors, covers 115 degrees across, supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6, has two-way audio and an IP65 weather rating. It is wired, so it needs a power outlet.

The Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ is the cheaper pick for a room. It shoots 2K video, pans 350 degrees and tilts 115 degrees, and has night vision and two-way audio. Using it outside needs the Blink Camera Outdoor Adapter, sold separately.

Blink Spotlight Cam 2K+

This is Blink's first wire-free spotlight camera: battery powered, with a spotlight that switches on when it detects motion. It suits a porch or driveway where running a cable is awkward.

Amazon had not yet listed it as its own product page at the time of writing. You can find it through the Blink store page on Amazon.

Blink Outdoor 2K XR+ and Frontier XR+

Both are long-range systems that connect to a Sync Module XR+, which is included in the system price.

The Outdoor 2K XR+ records 2K video, up to 1080p at maximum range. Amazon lists up to 800 feet with obstructions in the way and 2,700 feet with a clear line of sight.

The Frontier XR+ has a trail-camera design and stretches to 7,000 feet with a clear line of sight. That is the one for a barn, a cabin or a far corner of a property.

Why it matters

The long-range pair is aimed at spots far from the house, like a shed or the edge of a field. The 2,700 and 7,000 foot figures assume a clear line of sight, which is why the Outdoor 2K XR+ lists a much shorter 800 feet with obstructions.

Smart alerts such as person and vehicle detection need a Blink subscription plan, so the camera price is not the whole cost. Compare the plan before you pick several cameras. Our earlier look at what a Blink setup really costs shows how plans change the total, and Ring's rival lineup is a good one to compare.

Who should care

  • Renters and small homes: the Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ is the low-cost way to watch one room.
  • Anyone wanting sharper video: the Mini 4K+ is the entry to Blink 4K.
  • Porch and driveway: the Spotlight Cam 2K+, if you want no wiring.
  • Rural property, sheds, trails: the two XR+ systems, once they ship.
