Keepa's price tracker showed the Dell 27 Plus QHD S2725DSM at $169.99 on Amazon at 1:56 PM ET Oct 13, 2026. TechRadar reported the same price at about 7:00 AM ET, "was $219.99". We could not read Amazon's page ourselves, so check the Amazon listing.

The real saving is about $20

By Keepa's 90-day chart, Amazon's own price showed about $220 for a day around Sep 1, while new offers peaked near $207. The usual new price was about $190, with roughly $180 from early August to about Aug 24. So the honest saving is about $20, not $50.

Keepa's graph shows nothing lower in that 90-day window, and the price has sat near $170 since about Oct 9, after a brief dip around Oct 7. TechRadar says the monitor previously sold for $161.49, with no date given, so we cannot place it against Keepa's window; we did not check it.

Dell's own store showed $169.99 at 1:54 PM ET, with $219.99 as an "Estimated Value".

What you get

From Dell's page: a 27-inch IPS panel at 2560 x 1440 and 144Hz with FreeSync, 350 nits, 1,500:1 contrast, two 3W speakers, one HDMI and one DisplayPort 1.4, a height, tilt, swivel and pivot stand, and VESA 100 x 100 mounting.

What it lacks

Dell lists no USB-C and no USB ports, so it cannot charge a laptop over one cable. It is QHD, not 4K, and the warranty is 1 year.

For USB-C, Dell's S2725DC lists the same QHD 144Hz panel with USB-C at $244.99 on Dell's store at 1:57 PM ET.

Who should skip it

Skip it if you need USB-C or laptop charging, want 4K, or already own a 1440p 27-inch monitor. If yours is already comparable, with a similar refresh rate and stand, a $20 saving is small reason to swap.

Who it suits

In our judgment, the S2725DSM at Amazon suits home office and everyday use where you want more room than 1080p. TechRadar's review covers the Full HD S2725HSM, which it calls essentially the same monitor, and gave it four stars. We have not seen a review of the S2725DSM itself, and we did not test it.
