Is $949.99 the lowest price?
We can't say. We did not check Keepa or CamelCamelCamel. 9to5Google and 9to5Toys listed the same $950 price against a $1,400 regular price on Oct 9, and Android Central reported the $450 cut on Oct 8, so this is not a new drop.
What else is on the listing
Amazon lists other colours and the 512GB model at higher prices. In Amazon search results when we checked, the 256GB Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue and White models were $1,099.99, and the 512GB Black model was $1,299.99. Among the variants we saw, only the 256GB Black model was at $949.99. 9to5Google says some models are up to $510 off; we did not find a $510 discount on the Amazon listings we checked.
Terms to check before buying
The listing says the phone is sold by Amazon.com with a US one-year warranty and a 30-day refund or replacement window; Amazon warns that return shipping fees may apply. The listing showed Oct 13 delivery for Prime members when we checked, and delivery varies by address and order time. Amazon prices change without notice, so confirm the price in your cart.
Who should buy
This price suits someone who wants the Galaxy S26 Ultra's 6.9-inch display and is not locked to a carrier deal. If you can wait, we have no evidence of a cheaper price coming, and no confirmed end date for this one.
