Amazon is selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ 256GB with a $200 Amazon gift card for $1,199.99, but only to Prime members, through Oct 21. Shoppers without Prime see $1,399.99 for the same bundle. We rechecked the two Amazon listings at 6:47 AM ET Oct 12, 2026 (ZIP 03063), after first checking between 6:20 and 6:22.
The tablet itself is not cheaper. The tablet-only listing is $1,199.99 for everyone, and Samsung.com lists the same price. So the Prime price is the tablet at its regular price with the $200 card added. Without Prime, the bundle costs $200 more, which is the card's face value.
What the bundle is
Amazon's listing calls it a launch bundle: you get an Amazon gift card when you buy the Tab S12+, and you have to pick the gift card variation to get it. The listing says it is available until 10/21.
Amazon describes the card as a physical gift card in a mini envelope, with no fees and no expiration date. Gift cards may ship separately from the tablet, and Amazon does not accept returns on them, so read the terms before you buy.
What we saw
- Tab S12+ 256GB, Gray, with a $200 gift card: logged out, the page showed "Limited Prime deal" at $1,199.99 and a regular bundle price of $1,399.99, with the note that the deal is exclusively for Prime members. In stock, shipped and sold by Amazon.com, with delivery by Oct 13 to ZIP 03063.
- Tab S12+ 256GB, tablet only: $1,199.99, in stock, sold by Amazon.com, with no Prime requirement.
- Tab S12+ with a $200 gift card and a Pro Keyboard bundle: the listing was unavailable when we looked.
Is it worth it
For a Prime member who already shops at Amazon, a $200 card on a $1,199.99 tablet is about 17% back in store credit. It is not a price cut, and it only helps if you would spend that money at Amazon anyway.
If you are not a Prime member, skip the bundle. Buy the tablet-only listing at $1,199.99, or ask whether a $200 card is worth $200 to you.
9to5Toys also reports a PYPL100 code for $100 off at Samsung.com and Samsung trade-in credit of up to $550. We did not check either, so confirm both at Samsung before you compare prices.
