A leaker says Nothing is preparing smart glasses, in a Bluesky post by Roland Quandt on Oct. 13, which Digital Trends reported. The post gives features, not a price or date.

What the leak says

Quandt's post says "Nothing is launching" two pairs, and gives only the word "soon" for timing:

  • Model 1: audio-equipped "smart glasses", working as an audio player, with auto-tinting photochromic lenses, calls and the voice assistant on your phone
  • Model 2: the same, with a camera, ChatGPT, translation "and more"

Digital Trends' report describes the same two models. Quandt's post gives no price, release date, chip, battery life or weight.

What Nothing has said

As of Oct. 15, 2026, Nothing's sitemap and its community newsroom list no glasses.

What Ray-Ban Meta costs today

Per Meta's Ray-Ban Meta page, read Oct. 15, 2026 (prices are "starting at" and vary by lens):

  • Ray-Ban Meta Audio, no camera: from $349, up to 12 hours of battery
  • Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Wayfarer: from $379, up to 8 hours, video up to 3K at 30 fps
  • Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3): from $449, up to 9 hours, video up to 3K at 30 fps

Our Ray-Ban Meta Audio story covers what the camera-free pair gives up. Our Samsung smart glasses story covers another leak that, like this one, has no price. Meta's voice-recording rules are in our recordings story.

Why it matters

Our assessment: the leak describes the split Meta already sells, one pair without a camera and one with, per Quandt's post. We have not seen or used any Nothing glasses, and no spec is confirmed. Meta's current starting prices run from $349 to $449; Nothing's pricing is unknown.

Our assessment: if you want audio glasses or camera glasses now, buy what Meta lists. If you would rather see Nothing's price and reviews first, wait. A leak with no date is not a reason to hold off for long.
