OnePlus says it will no longer launch new products in North America. See also our earlier display report.

Price in China

OnePlus's China shop lists these presale prices. The dollar figures are conversions at 0.149247 USD per CNY (open.er-api.com, rates updated Oct 12, 2026), rounded, not US prices.

  • 12GB + 256GB: CNY 5,699 (about $851), against a CNY 5,999 list price.
  • 12GB + 512GB: CNY 6,499 (about $970).

GSMArena reports open sales in China start Oct 31. OnePlus's shop also lists a Magnetic Ice Card Mini cooler as a gift with the phone.

Can a US buyer get one?

No official route. In a July 16 community post, OnePlus said: "OnePlus has decided to conclude new product rollouts in Europe and North America." The post does not name the OnePlus 16. The Verge also sees no hope of a launch in either market.

Importing is possible only through third parties, and our import guide covers the checks. For this phone:

  • Bands: OnePlus's list for the China model does not include LTE bands 12, 13, 14, 17 or 71, or 5G n71. Compare it with your carrier's required bands.
  • Warranty: OnePlus's shop lists a nationwide (China) warranty. We found nothing on warranty elsewhere.
  • Software: it ships with ColorOS 17. We could not confirm whether Google services are included.

Why it matters

The OnePlus 16 offers flagship-class specs at a China price of about $850 converted, but the trade-off for a US buyer is giving up official support. The specs are OnePlus's claims, not tested results.

Still unknown

  • Whether the phone works on a given US carrier
  • Whether Google services are present
