Soundcore Sleep Earbuds 4 and 4 Pro: a $1 deposit locks in $30 off at launch

Soundcore, Anker's audio brand, is taking $1 deposits on its Sleep Earbuds 4 ($229.99) and Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro ($349.99). Each deposit earns a $30 discount code that Soundcore emails after launch. Both models are on Soundcore's US store but not yet purchasable: every colour was marked "sold out or unavailable" on Oct. 12.

Why it matters

The "$199.99" and "$319.99" prices in some coverage are not what you pay today. You pay $1 now and get a $30 code later, so the real price is set at launch. Soundcore calculates the $30 off the standard retail price at launch, which may not be today's listed price.

How the deposit works

The deposit page says the offer is valid for both models. Soundcore's official rules add the terms:

• Deadline, Sleep Earbuds 4: Oct. 21, 2026, 11:59 PM EDT.
• Deadline, Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro: Nov. 15, 2026, 11:59 PM EST.
• Code: emailed within five business days of launch, valid for 30 days, single use, usable on soundcore.com or Amazon (through Amazon's claim-code system).
• Limits: one deposit per product per email address; US residents 18 or older; the code can't be combined with other codes or coupons, but can be combined with gift-with-purchase offers.
• Refund: before launch, you can ask for a full refund at any time. After launch, the $1 is non-refundable if you buy, because it counts toward the $30. If you don't buy, you can still request a full refund. Soundcore refunds every deposit automatically if the product has not launched by Dec. 31, 2026.

Expected launch timing

Soundcore's deposit page says "First Drop Coming This October" and gives no ship date. Mashable reports that Anker says Sleep Earbuds 4 arrives in October and the Pro in November, and notes that no firm dates are set. Treat the timing as unconfirmed.

The two models

• Sleep Earbuds 4, $229.99: Soundcore's product-page summary describes a Triple Noise Reduction System and a staggered design for side sleepers with a "98% ear fit." Listed colours: Moonlit White, Haze Blue, Bare Pink.
• Sleep Earbuds 4 Pro, $349.99: Soundcore's product-page summary calls it its first sleep earbuds with built-in sleep tracking, plus a smart-screen charging case for a phone-free routine. Listed colours: Lunar White, Mist Blue. Soundcore's comparison table lists an AMOLED touch case, in-ear PPG sleep tracking and BioSync Adaptive Audio as Pro-only; Mashable describes the case as showing sleep metrics and setting alarms.

Soundcore's deposit-page comparison table lists these for both models:

• "Enhanced Mid-Range Reduction (3 - 5 dB Improvement)" in noise reduction, which Soundcore's table sets against the Sleep A30. We found no independent testing.
• A layered design with a 20% smaller contact area.
• Wireless charging (the A30 has none).
• A built-in personal alarm, Bluetooth 6.0 and a Find Me feature.

The deposit page also lists a 24-month warranty ($24.99 value) alongside the $30 off at launch; the official rules page does not mention it.

Against the Sleep A30

Soundcore's store lists the Sleep A30 Special from $199.99 as of Oct. 12. If the Sleep Earbuds 4 launches at $229.99, Soundcore's $199.99 headline price matches the A30's current price. The $1 deposit is non-refundable if you buy, and Soundcore says its full value is applied toward the $30 discount, so check what the $30 code takes off at checkout. Mashable frames the deal the same way. Launch prices could differ, and the 3 to 5 dB gain is Soundcore's own claim.
