Amazon's listing for the TP-Link Archer BE600 showed $189.98 as of 8:40 a.m. ET, Oct. 20, 2026, and the price can change. It beats the $79.98 BE230 only if you have a multi-gig internet plan, 10Gbps wired gear or many 6GHz devices; otherwise skip it.

BE600 versus the BE230
Our BE230 pick was $79.98 when we read it on Oct. 17 and may have changed since. At that price the BE600 costs about $110 more. Here is what that buys, from TP-Link's spec pages.
| Archer BE600 | Archer BE230 | |
|---|---|---|
| Bands | 2.4, 5 and 6GHz | 2.4 and 5GHz |
| Top Wi-Fi speeds | 5,765Mbps on 6GHz, 2,882Mbps on 5GHz, 1,032Mbps on 2.4GHz | 2,882Mbps on 5GHz, 688Mbps on 2.4GHz |
| Fastest port | 10Gbps | 2.5Gbps |
| Other Ethernet | 1x 2.5Gbps, 3x 2.5Gbps | 1x 2.5Gbps, 3x 1Gbps |
| Antennas | 6 external | 4 external |
Who should step up
Pay for the BE600 if your internet plan is faster than 2.5Gbps, or you have a 10Gbps wired device such as a workstation or a network storage box. It also suits a home that wants four 2.5Gbps wired ports without buying a switch.
If your plan is gigabit or slower and your devices are mostly older Wi-Fi, the BE230 does the job for much less.
Before you buy
The 6GHz band only helps devices with a 6GHz radio. Check which of your phones, laptops and consoles have one; if few do, the extra band buys you little at this price.
