Amazon's listing for the TP-Link Deco X55 3-pack showed $149.96 as of 11:24 a.m. ET, Oct. 20, 2026, and the price can change. It is a Wi-Fi 6 mesh system rated for 6,500 square feet. Skip it if you want Wi-Fi 7 or have a plan faster than Gigabit.

The price

  • Amazon: $149.96 for the new 3-pack, in stock, sold by Amazon.com.
  • List price: $195.29, shown as a strikethrough, so $45.33 or about 23% off.
  • End date: not announced.

What you get

  • Wi-Fi: TP-Link lists AX3000 Wi-Fi 6, dual-band, with 2,402Mbps on one band and 574Mbps on the other.
  • Coverage: up to 6,500 square feet with three units, and TP-Link says it connects over 150 devices.
  • Ports: three Gigabit Ethernet ports on each unit.
  • Backhaul: the units link wirelessly, and TP-Link says Ethernet backhaul is optional.

The Wi-Fi 7 alternatives

The alternative is one faster Wi-Fi 7 router instead of three Wi-Fi 6 units. Our BE600 story showed that tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router at $189.98 at 8:40 a.m. ET today, with a 10Gbps port and 6GHz.

Our BE230 story showed the dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router at $79.98 on Oct. 17, with two 2.5Gbps ports. Both prices may have changed since.

A single router suits a small home or apartment. TP-Link rates the BE600 for 3-bedroom houses. It rates this 3-pack for 4-6 or more bedrooms.

Who it suits

This suits a large or multi-floor home with a gigabit or slower internet plan and mostly Wi-Fi 6 or older devices. Every unit has only Gigabit ports, so a 2.5Gbps or 10Gbps wired device will not get its full speed from it.

Before you buy

Look at the listing for the Buy New price, because Amazon also shows other offers. Wireless backhaul shares one band between the units, so running Ethernet between them is the better setup if your walls allow it.
