Why it matters

Apple's US store lists AirPods Pro 3 at $249, so Amazon's list price matches Apple's.

This is not the first time we have seen this price. Our Oct 16 roundup of Apple deals recorded the same $199.00 on Amazon. We are not calling it a record low.

For Apple audio at the other end of the range, see our post on the AirPods Max 2 at $429 at Amazon. For a cheaper option without noise cancellation, see the AirPods 4 at $79 at Walmart, which was a one-day price. More picks are on our Gadgets & Accessories page.

What Apple says AirPods Pro 3 offer

Apple's AirPods Pro 3 page describes the earbuds as having what it calls the world's best in-ear Active Noise Cancellation, up to 2x more than AirPods Pro 2. It lists heart rate sensing during workouts and Live Translation, which Apple says is available in select languages and regions.

Apple also lists a Hearing Aid feature, IP57 dust, sweat and water resistance, and up to 8 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation on a single charge. The earbuds use Apple's H2 chip.

Is $199 a good price?

The $50.00 saving, about 20%, is measured against the $249.00 list price, which matches Apple's store price.

Who it suits, who should skip

It suits anyone who wants Apple earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation at this price. It also suits buyers who want the heart rate sensing or the hearing features Apple lists, though some of those features depend on your region and your device.

Skip it if you do not need noise cancellation, or if you can wait for a lower price.
