Amazon.com is selling Apple's 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip, 24GB of memory and 2TB of storage for $2,399.00 in Space Black. That is $600.00 below the $2,999.00 List Price on the listing, a 20% cut. We checked with a New Hampshire delivery ZIP at 6:44 AM ET Oct 12, 2026, and it was in stock and sold and shipped by Amazon.com. End date not announced.

Why it matters

The $600 saving holds against a real price. Apple's US store lists this exact configuration at $2,999.00, the same figure Amazon shows as its List Price.

9to5Toys, which reported the drop, calls it the lowest price it has tracked in months, including the fall Prime Day sale. It says the price is effectively the same as the summer Prime Day price. 9to5Toys also says the price is $200 under the MacBook Pro's list price before Apple's recent price increases. We could not pull price history ourselves, so we make no claim that this is a record low.

What the deal covers

  • Product: Apple 2026 MacBook Pro, 14-inch, M5 Pro chip with a 15-core CPU and 16-core GPU, 24GB of memory, 2TB of storage, Wi-Fi 7.
  • Color: Space Black. We did not check other colors.
  • Price: $2,399.00 at Amazon.com, new.
  • List price: $2,999.00, the basis for the $600.00 saving.
  • Delivery: Free delivery, expected Saturday, Oct 17, to the New Hampshire ZIP we used.
  • Card offer: The listing also showed an instant $50 off, paying $2,349.00, on approval for an Amazon card. We did not check the terms.

Not the pricier M5 Pro model

This is the 15-core CPU, 16-core GPU version. 9to5Toys says it has seen the more expensive 18-core CPU, 20-core GPU version with 24GB and 2TB at $500 off several times. The two are different machines, so compare the chip configuration before you buy.
