Amazon's listing for Samsung's 77-inch S90H OLED TV showed $2,297.99 as of 7:14 p.m. ET, Oct. 17, 2026, against a $2,797.99 strikethrough. It was in stock, sold and shipped by Amazon. Prices change, so check the page before you buy.
The price
- Amazon: $500 below the strikethrough price. We do not know that Amazon ever charged the strikethrough, so we do not count it as a saving. No end date announced.
- History: Keepa shows this as the lowest price Amazon has charged for the TV, held since Oct. 5, so it is not a flash drop. The high was $3,697.99 on Apr. 4 at launch, and the 90-day average is $2,611.37.
- Third-party sellers: the same chart shows a new-condition offer at $1,997.99 on Aug. 22. That was not Amazon's price, and we did not check who sold it.
- Samsung.com: Samsung listed $2,299.99 when we read it that evening, so buying direct is no cheaper.
- Best Buy: we could not load its page, so we do not know its price.
What you get
- Screen: Samsung lists a matte Glare Free screen, OLED HDR+ and its NQ4 AI Gen3 processor on a standard WOLED panel.
- Ports and gaming: Tom's Guide says it has four HDMI 2.1 ports and takes 4K at up to 165Hz from a gaming PC.
- Restrictions: no Dolby Vision. In bright rooms the matte finish makes blacks look purplish-gray, not inky black.
- Room: PC Guide notes a screen this big works best in a spacious room.
Why it matters
The price is the best Amazon has shown for this TV, but the strikethrough is not the saving to weigh. The better test is the 90-day average and how long the price has held.
The step up is the S95H, which Samsung's 77-inch page lists at $3,699.99. The same review measured 2,721 nits of HDR brightness on it against 1,497 on the S90H, and says its quantum-dot panel covers more color.
In our read, the S90H is the value pick unless you watch in a bright room and want the brightest highlights.
Against LG's C6
LG sells its 77-inch C6 as the C6H, with a newer RGB Tandem panel. A second comparison had not tested that size. At smaller sizes it called the picture roughly on par, and picked the C6 for most people because it adds Dolby Vision and a glossy screen.
We could not confirm a current 77-inch LG price, so compare it before you buy.
Who it suits
In our read, untested: a big living room, a mix of movies, sports and gaming, and daytime glare you want to tame. If you want Dolby Vision, look at the C6H. For a cheaper big screen, see our Hisense E6SR story. For OLED on a desk, see the ASUS ROG Strix monitor.
